Indian community and variety of special food

Indian sweets and festivals are two sides of a coin and are like made for each other.

Traditionally when people celebrate Religious Festivals, Social Functions/Gathering, National Holidays, or Special Occasion they eat and distribute sweets among friends and relatives.

Sweets are expressions of joy and happiness. In any type of election, if party wins, sweets like Penda, Jalebi and Bundi will be distributed and enjoyed among the people. If any Puja is there or when they buy new house, sweets will be first seen in front of God's idol. If somebody deliver a baby boy in the family, they distribute Penda among the relatives and friends and if baby girl then they distribute Jalebi among the well wishers.

The main festivals of Indian people is the Diwali and New year. People enjoy with variety of sweets like kaju katri, Gajar Halwa, Pistal rolls, Types of Burfee, Penda, Jalebi, Besan Laddu and what not!!
